TULUNAN, NCot., 24 Feb 2021- Provision of DOST- STARBOOKS to ELCAC (End Local Communist Armed Conflict) -identified barangays in North Cotabato commenced yesterday, wherein one (1) unit was provided at Brgy. Banayal, Tulunan.
Regional Director Engr Sammy Malawan through PD Michael Mayo informed Governor Nancy Catamco that DOST XII will likewise grant STARBOOKS to identified barangays initially assisted last year.
Moreover, school supplies were distributed among children in Brgy. Banayal. Initial assessment to determine other S&T needs of the community such as concerning livelihood, health, and hazard mitigation along with beneficiaries profiling were done for more S&T interventions in the barangay.
