PALIMBANG, SULTAN KUDARAT- Employees and staff of the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Science and Technology Office (SK-PSTO) introduced Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS-STARBOOKS to the OIC principal of Milbuk National High School.
The group headed by Provincial Science and Technology Director Ms. Zenaida Guiano discussed thoroughly to Ms. Leticia Gascon, the OIC Principal of Milbuk National High School together with the ICT coordinator the features, application, uses and benefits the school can get from the STARBOOKS.
Ms. Gascon promised to adopt the STARBOOKS upon relaying the details of the meeting to the school principal.
The STARBOOKS, also known as “Library in a Box” is an offline e-library developed by DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute (STII). Storage of encyclopedia, S&T-based research, and other science-related learning resources in various formats will provide a digitalized learning experience to students, teachers, researchers, and other science-enthusiasts in the community.
