Santa Cruz Central Elementary School, headed by Verleto C. Florentino, Principal III, would like to thank the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) for the successful installation today of STARBOOKS or the Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly-Operated KioskS (STARBOOKS), a stand-alone information source designed to reach those with limited or no access to S&T information resources. Definitely, this information resource would be very helpful in the school’s effort to strengthen its literacy program and improve student literacy.
