STARBOOKS-ready computer units from the DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute (DOST-STII) and BPI Foundation, Inc. were deployed to three Bohol schools on a turnover rites held at Tugas Elementary School on 19 April 2024.

Learning science and technology has never been this easy with DOST’s STARBOOKS! Potrero National High School has now integrated this “Library in a Box” into its learning resources!

#STIIintheNEWS: The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) XI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Holy Child College of Davao for the installation of Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly-Operated Kiosk Stations (STARBOOKS) across the college’s three campuses – Trinity, Kalayaan, and Green Meadows.

In a significant step towards enhancing educational resources in rural schools of Panabo City Division, 𝗣. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗰𝗼 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, and 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, are the proud new recipients of the 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗦 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆. This initiative, courtesy of the BPI Foundation, Inc. (BPIFI) in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST XI), was marked by a celebratory turnover ceremony attended by notable education and community leaders.

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Aklan Provincial Office engages with educators from various private schools in the province to promote STARBOOKS or the Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly-Operated KioskS. In attendance were representatives from Saint Gabriel College, Aklan Valley High School, STI College Kalibo, St. Dominic School of Kalibo, Infant Jesus School, and Wadeford School.

The DOST-STARBOOKS convened its deployment officers once again on the occasion of the 12th STARBOOKS Deployment Officers Assembly at BeeFarm Bohol, Panglao, Bohol, from April 17th to 19th, 2024.

Sta Rosa City Jail Male and Female Dorms, under the dynamic leadership of JCINSP JAY TEE P TANCANGCO and JINSP EMMA R RAMO, have sealed a partnership with DOST through MOA signing held on April 01, 2024 at the Unit’s Tech4Ed Center.
