PSTO-Pampanga introduced STARBOOKS to the Women’s Association of Brgy. Maimpis on March 11, as part of Women’s Month celebration. This initiative aims to empower women, enabling them to contribute to the sustainability of their community by leveraging on the TAMANG DOSTkarte Livelihood Videos which is one of the components of STARBOOKS. These are science and research-based videos tailored to stimulate entrepreneurial mindset, skills, and provide essential knowledge for livelihood opportunities.

ASMEPPS Turnover STARBOOKS Unit to Two Public Schools

STARBOOKS Training and Orientation for teachers from public schools in Negros Oriental

DOST VII through Negros Oriental PSTO conducted a STARBOOKS Training and Orientation for teachers from different public schools in Negros Oriental. STARBOOKS refers to “library in a box” computer technology developed by the DOST-Science & Technology Information Institute (STII). The STII team installed the latest software update including K-12 learning materials and STARBOOKS Nature, which showcases the natural wonders and conservation efforts in three environmentally protected areas in the province. The event was held at DepEd Negros Oriental Division Conference Room.
