The DOST-STII opened the door for its newest partner, the Lenovo Philippines, Inc. (LPI), today.
Strictly practicing healthcare protocols on a short partnership agreement signing ceremony, the Lenovo Philippines, Inc. turned over two laptop units to the DOST-STII.
LPI will provide 2-3 laptop units per quarter for a period of one year for STARBOOKS.
These laptops will be loaded with the Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS (STARBOOKS) Offline, the first Philippine S&T digital library in a box, and will be given freely to chosen school/community beneficiaries in the Philippines.
Michael Ngan, President and Country Manager of LPI, believes that this is just the start of more science and technology collaborations between them [Lenovo Philippines, Inc.] and the DOST-STII.
