Today, September 2, 2021, the Science and Technology Academic Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS (STARBOOKS 3.0) unit was successfully turned over to the TESDA-IX Regional Training Center.
Ms. Nashima J. Ibrahim, the librarian/STARBOOKS focal person, was provided orientation and user hands-on training along with the transition.
STARBOOKS is the first digital library in the Philippines, offering scientific and technology resources in a variety of formats (text, video, and audio) that can be accessed even without an internet connection.
Due to the pandemic, the STARBOOKS is now accessible on different online platforms, such as the STARBOOKS Online (www.starbooks.ph), STARBOOKS Mobile App, STARBOOKS geomap, and STARBOOKS Whiz which is downloadable on Google Play.
