Look: Early today, PSTC Batanes organized a user’s training and orientation on Super STARBOOKS or the Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosk Stations at the Training Hall of LGU-Sabtang. STARBOOKS is a stand-alone information source of thousands digitized science and technology resources in various formats (text and video or audio) and in a user-friendly interface.
Mr. Mitchel Lechuga, the project coordinator of STARBOOKS in the province shares on how everyone can benefit from it. The said activity was done not only for the S&T promotion of STARBOOKS but also to enjoin the participants to share the benefits of the unit to their respective association. Representative from academe, agriculture, women and information team were able to participate.
STARBOOKS was installed in the pc unit that was awarded to the LGU Sabtang through the partnership of DICT and DOST.
The activity was conducted following the strict health protocols.
