The Department of Science and Technology – Cordillera Administrative Region (DOST – CAR) through its Provincial Science and Technology Office (PSTO) Abra reaches out to the far flung schools of Langiden to deliver digital libraries.These schools namely Malapaao Elementary School, Quillat Central School and Mabungtot Elementary School were given with Science and Technology Academe and Research Based Openly Operated Kiosks (STARBOOKs).
The PSTO Abra staff had to cross a river by raft to transport the STARBOOKs to the school beneficiaries. STARBOOKs program was made possible under the Local Grant-In Aid (LGIA) program of DOST.
