Last July 14, 2023, a Memorandum of Agreement between the Private Schools Association of Batangas Inc. (PRISAB), Department of Science and Technology (DOST) – Science and Technology Information Institute (STII), and DOST-CALABARZON was forged for the adoption and deployment of the Science and Technology Academic Research-Based Openly-Operated Kiosk (STARBOOKS) to the member schools of PRISAB.
STARBOOKS is an all-in-one digital library that provides S&T information and references developed by DOST-STII. It contains videos, pictures, articles, research paper among other that students can access through an offline kiosk.
This STARBOOKS technology will be deployed to fifty (50) member-schools of the association. The DOST-STII and DOST CALABARZON staff installed the STARBOOKS technology to the computers provided by the member-schools.

Malabanan, Chief of Information Resources and Analysis Division of STII, Mr. Alan C. Taule, PRISAB President, Ms. Catherine Recto-Banta, and PRISAB Member, Atty. Jessie M. Patron, spearheaded the MOA Signing activity.
