DOST-NCR Regional Director, Engr. Romelen T. Tresvalles, and City of Valenzuela Vice Mayor Lorena Natividad-Borja representing Mayor Wes Gatchalian, signed a Memorandum of Agreement to formally turnover a DOST Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly-Operated KioskS (STARBOOKS) to enhance STEM learning of students in the city.
The signing ceremony took place on February 21, 2024 at the City of Valenzuela library and was witnessed by Schools Division Superintendent, Mr. Noel D. Bagano, Valenzuela City Library Officer-in-Charge, Ms. Rochelle Silverio, and City Councilors.
The agreement will further foster collaborative efforts in advancing STEM education and access to technology, potentially creating avenues for innovative learning programs and enhanced research opportunities for the students.
