STARBOOKS-ready computer units from the DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute (DOST-STII) and BPI Foundation, Inc. were deployed to three Bohol schools on a turnover rites held at Tugas Elementary School on 19 April 2024.
The recipients of the complete computer packages include Tugas Elementary School, Tabunoc Elementary School, and Catungawan Elementary School.
This initiative is part of BPI Foundation’s “Kasama Lahat sa Pag-unlad” advocacy to build a sustainable, inclusive, and financially well Philippines and DOST-STII’s mission of disseminating science, technology, and innovation learning resource through STARBOOKS.
This second round of donation from BPI Foundation worth Php 2.1 million will allow 30 remote schools across the Philippines to have access to free state-of-the-art learning resources.
