Nine units of computers installed with STARBOOKS database were formally turned over to the Bicol University libraries on June 17, 2022.
The Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly-Operated Kiosk Stations (STARBOOKS) is a stand-alone information source for persons with little or no access to science and technology information resources. The project’s goal is to distribute Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI)-based curriculum in a variety of forms to students and other constituents in geographically distant and economically-challenged schools and communities across the country.
