The MNHS family expressed its profound gratitude for the provision of 2 units of STARBOOKS (Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly-Operated Kiosks) during the Launching Ceremony last March 10 held at MNHS Covered Court.
The STARBOOKS launching was highly attended by our highly supportive partners from DOST 8 Regional Office headed by Regional Director Engr. Ernesto Granada together with Leyte Provincial Director Dr. John Glenn Ocaña, CEST 8 Director Dr. Ramil Uy and Mr. Mhardy C. Montejo, also attending the said launching were Hon. Ana Veloso Tuazon represented by Assistant DPWH District Engr. Jhonny Protesta and Miss Shayne Sevilla and from LGU San Isidro Tourism Officer Ms. Ilyn Ladlad and Department Heads from different offices reprenting Hon. Mayor Remedio B. Veloso. Also joining is the San Isidro District II Supervisor Mr. Diomedes Espina.
Our Muertegunian junior and senior high school students will now be able to utilize the STARBOOKS which is a free offline and online digitized library kiosks designed to help our young learners easily access to a wide range of information and lot of reliable resources of data from different subject areas and Kto12 based competencies lessons and activities.
We will forever treasure this precious gift given to us by our very kind hearted and generous Congresswoman Hon. Anna Victoria Veloso- Tuazon of the 3rd District of Leyte and Mayor Remedio B. Veloso for choosing our beloved school to be the beneficiary of the DOST’s STARBOOK.
