Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Provincial Science and Technology – Nueva Ecija conducts an Orientation about Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS (STARBOOKS) to 8 different High Schools and 1 Elementary School in District 1 of DepEd – Nueva Ecija this April 12, 2023.
Present at the said activity are beneficiaries from Sto. Rosario National High School, Triala National High School, Paitan Sur National High School, Vicente R. Bumanlag Sr. National High School, Tabacao National High School, Zaragoza National High School, Nampicuan National High School, Restituto B. Peria National High School, and Doreto R. Jose Elementary School.
STARBOOKS is a one of the programs of Community Empowerment through Science and Technology (CEST) under entry point 3 Education and Human Resource Development that aims to help improve the quality of education in the country.
This STARBOOKS is stand-alone information source designed to reach those with limited or no access to Science and Technology information resources that are accessible in various formats such as text, video, and audio.
