DOST-STARBOOKS, an acronym for Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosks, functions as a digital library, serving as a comprehensive repository of Science and Technology (S&T) information. This innovative platform aims to enhance the learning experience and foster science and knowledge creation in rural areas.
During the recent STARBOOKS Orientation and User’s Hands-on Training, Mr. Laurence Angelo F. Bago and Mr. Mark Anthony B. Acidella from DOST-Cavite served as the Resource Speakers/Trainers. They provided insights into the system’s operation, methods for accessing program content, the reporting process, and system maintenance. Following the informative session, participants had a hands-on experience, learning to operate and navigate the STARBOOKS system.
To ensure the seamless operation of STARBOOKS, attendees were encouraged to maintain regular communication with DOST-Cavite. They were advised to report the status of STARBOOKS usage and any encountered issues, facilitating prompt resolution of concerns.
At DOST, we continuously provide S&T interventions to ensure the adoption of technologies and application of S&T intervention towards maximum economic and social benefits for the people.
