With physical textbooks and research papers now transformed into digitized science and technology resources, students of Potrero National High School can now easily access different learning materials through one of DOST’s developed technologies, the Science and Technology Academic Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS or STARBOOKS! πŸ–₯οΈπŸŒβš›πŸš€

Seventeen (17) students, together with their science teachers, took part in the STARBOOKS Orientation and User’s Training that was held on April 22, 2024, at the Potrero National High School computer laboratory. Guided by the DOST-NCR CAMANAVA CASTO STARBOOKS Coordinator Mr. Daryl Drio, the faculty and students learned how to create a user profile, learn the Kiosk’s different features, and access various learning references in the digital library. βœ¨πŸ’‘β€πŸ³

This activity is only one of DOST-NCR’s initiatives towards empowering communities, including youth development. through science, technology, and innovation-based interventions πŸŒŸπŸ“š
