DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute and DOST- National Capital Region inked a Memorandum of Agreement with the DepEd School District Office of Valenzuela City in ceremonies held at the Caruhatan West Elementary School.
This collaboration is set to bring much-needed teaching and learning resources on STEAM to public schools in the city.
Present during the ceremonial signing were DOST-STII Director Richard P. Burgos, DOST-NCR OIC on Technical Operations Division Warren D. Gomez, Assistant SDS Noel D. Bagano, Chief of Curriculum Implementation Division Filmore R. Caballero, and Chief Education Supervisor Dr. Baltazar M. Gayem.
Reynaldo A. Morales, Jr., STARBOOKS unit member, also gave a user training and orientation explaining the functionalities, features, and contents of the STARBOOKS Unit through a hands-on demonstration with the participants.
Morales also discussed and demonstrated how to manage STARBOOKS by presenting the administrator’s dashboard to the participants.
