On March 1, 2024, seven (7) public schools in Porac enthusiastically joined the STARBOOKS project. Principals and teachers gathered at Porac National High School (PNHS), led by Mr. Joel S. Mendoza, for a training and orientation session facilitated by PSTO-Pampanga STARBOOKS team.
During the session, participants, particularly the inspiring women educators, commended the features of the STARBOOKS, especially its K-12 interactive content designed to enhance teaching and learning.
The team facilitated the installation of the system initially at the PNHS Library, while the remaining schools have also prepared and submitted the required documents and are now gearing up with the hardware preparations to acquire this innovative learning tool.
Present in this activity were the Principals and Teachers from the following Schools:
• Porac National High School (Host)
• Porac Model Community High School
• Porac Elementary School
• Eastern Porac National High School
• Planas High School
• Sta. Cruz Elementary School
• Pulong Santol National High School
As a testament to our commitment to women’s empowerment, signing of the MOA between the recipients and DOST-3 followed right after the training.
