STARBOOKS for Governance (STARBOOKS 4G) was officially launched today, April 17, at the ceremonial opening of the 2024 Central Visayas Regional Science and Technology Week which will run from 17-20 April 2024 at Island City Mall, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
A joint project between DOST-STII, DOST-Region VII through its Provincial Science and Technology Office in Bohol, and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Bohol, STARBOOKS 4G is a one-stop source of local governance information and learning materials from DILG – Bohol.
STARBOOKS 4G aims to enhance the capabilities of the Local Governance Resource Center of the DILG-Bohol Province across 47 local government units by making local governance learning and information materials accessible to its constituents across the province.
Other projects launched alongside STARBOOKS 4G were the Bohol Food Safety Team, Asin Tibuok Innovative Packaging, STARBOOKS for Tagbilaran City Alternative Learning System, and the memorandum of agreement signing for the DOST iSTART Program.
