DOST-STII presided over the installation, user training, and mass orientation on STARBOOKS at the Francisco P. Felix Memorial National High School in Cainta, Rizal on March 14, 2024.
The event, which also drew the participation of DOST Rizal and MilliConnections Inc, is intended to benefit deaf and hearing-impaired students who have little or no previous access to science and technology learning resources.
Reynaldo A. Morales, Jr., a member of the STARBOOKS unit, explained the functionalities, features, and contents of STARBOOKS through a hands-on demonstration with the learners and teachers from the beneficiary schools.
